The United Nations has released a critical report detailing a sharp increase in human rights violations within Iran since the onset of the recent conflict. According to the UN, the Iranian regime has executed at least 21 individuals and detained more than 400 people.
The report further highlights a disturbing pattern of treatment regarding those in custody. It reveals that a significant number of the detainees have been subjected to “forced disappearances” and systematic torture. International observers are expressing growing concern over the safety of political prisoners and the lack of legal due process for those currently held in the regime’s detention centers.
