RABAT โ In a major strategic move for the Moroccan monarchy, King Mohammed VI has officially appointed his son and heir, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, to a pivotal position within the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces. At just 22 years old, the Crown Prince has been named the Coordinator of the Offices and Services of the General Command.
This office is considered the most vital nerve center of the Moroccan military, as it serves as the primary link between logistics, intelligence, and military planning. By assuming this role, the young Crown Prince will be in a position to monitor and oversee every significant internal movement and operational activity within the nation’s armed forces.
Military analysts view this appointment as a clear signal of the Kingโs intent to accelerate the Crown Princeโs leadership training. By placing him at the heart of military coordination, the monarchy ensures that the future King gains direct, hands-on experience in national security and defense management during a period of shifting regional dynamics.
