A former CIA officer, John Kiriakou, said today in media remarks โ citing sources inside the White House โ that the United States has decided to carry out a military strike against Iran.
According to him, the operation could take place on Monday or Tuesday.
Kiriakou also revealed details of internal divisions within the White House regarding a potential attack on Iran.
He stated that Vice President J. D. Vance and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard are opposed to military action.
In contrast, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and senior U.S. military leadership are reportedly in favor of launching a strike.
The reported disagreement highlights growing tensions within the administration as Washington weighs its next move in the escalating standoff with Tehran.
