Turkey Fortifies Border with Iran to Prevent Refugee Influx Amid Escalating Crisis

In response to potential U.S. military actions and a looming refugee influx, Turkey is establishing a buffer zone along its border with Iran to prevent a new wave of migrants entering its territory.
Turkish officials informed the Turkish Parliament that they plan to halt the flow of refugees, having already reinforced border security.
The border is now fortified with walls, trenches, surveillance towers, unmanned aerial drones, and advanced monitoring systems to enhance control.
Officials also revealed that recent protests in Iran have resulted in approximately 4,000 deaths and 20,000 injuries.
These demonstrations coincide with soaring inflation and a collapsing Iranian currency, contributing to the growing instability in the region.
