-Mogadishu, Somalia — Former President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and former Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire have arrived at Villa Somalia, according to sources within the presidency.
Their arrival comes at a time of heightened political activity and growing tensions surrounding upcoming consultations and negotiations between government officials and opposition figures.
Witnesses reported heavy security presence around the presidential compound,
with traffic disruptions observed in parts of the surrounding areas as senior political figures entered the premises.
The purpose of the visit has not yet been officially disclosed.
